On the other hand, consumer demand and food options continue to evolve due to various underlying factors such as the need for better human health and prevention of illnesses, carbon footprint reduction, sustainable ecosystems, and concern with animal cruelty. Therefore, there is a growing demand for wholesome plant-based and vegan diets varying from flexitarian choices to completely vegan.
